Hello. i live in the usa in florida and i just got the new t68 from at&t. i really love the phone and it works great, but does anyone know about the battery life? when i fully charge the battery, i look and it has anywhere from 295 to 306 hours standby time. later it says 127 or something and then back to 200 and then to 50 and i dont know what its doing. do i have to condition the battery or something? please someone help me out! thanks.

i have the same problem with my battery too on my t68. it only lasts a max of 2 days, 3 days when it's just on the table and i'm not touchin it. my battery capacity is only 700mah i and i think that is one of the reasons why it does not last long compared to my t65 which has a higher capacity. buy a spare battery or have your SW upgraded. i just bought a spare one.

Also if you havent fully charged your phone then fully discharge you phone 3 times this will help, also the standby time changes alot because it calculates your signal strenght, ir port, bluetooth, and ever other feature into this number, depending on if they are on or not.

tips for saving battery life

1. put off the automatic backlight during the day
2. disable infrared
3. disable bluetooth searching
4. turn off vibration if ringer tones are on
5. turn keypad tones off
6. reduce buzzer and ringer volumes

thats it... i'll post more tips if i can think of more later
