Hi all,
Just to let you all know squeaky P900 can be fixed! Im sure thertes many ways to do this (if your confident to take it apart) but this is how I did mine. Basically I was I was making a cup of tea (being British and all) and had my P900 on the side. As I was stirring my cuppa I accidently dropped my P900 on th the kitchen floor (about 2-4 feet). This alarmed me a little so I picked it up only to find that the left han side of the device had completely popped out exposing the inside. I thought bugger I've bust it but decided to try and "pop" the casing back into position. I did this carefully, ajusting the sides to "click" the casing back into place. After afew seconds I did this and straight awaynoticed the device felt more firmer. I thought nothing of it as I was just clad that it wasnt broken. I finished making my cuppa and it was only once I sat down to check my P900 that I discovered I had cured the squeak. Sorted!! I would advice anyone to go and drop there P900 but if they do it might not be all that bad.
Thanks for time, Mr 7

hmm ... instead of dropping it (uncontrolled) we should try and remove the side covers with a screwdriver or something similar (controlled) and stick the covers back on.
so, who's going to be first ?

I once cured a creaky cased phone by taking it apart and carefully sprinkling a little talcum powder on the joining edges.
Please note the word "carefully", I'm not sure what it would do if it fell onto the contacts. Anyway, it worked, and the phone smelled nice for a while
p.s. It's an old trick to cure creaky floorboards so I applied the same logic.
Happy sprinkling !

Hello. I would like to add to this, in the hope that I may receive some help.
I ALSO DROPPED MY P900! And I was extremely miffed. I dropped it (accidentally), alarmingly, from a height of about 1 metre. As I attempted feebly to catch it, I could only manage to increase the acceleration at which my prized posession was hurtling towards the ground. It was my hall, and it bounced off the foot mat, smacked itself against the wall, and then.......only then........ did I manage to catch the darn thing. As a result I now suffer from post-traumatic disease and have a broken P900 - the side panel (as mentioned similarly by Mr Lucky) bust out a little. Not sure if I can fix it. When I push it in, it just springs out again. It is the housing which surrounds the camera and blue (Internet) buttons. Do I need to buy a completely new housing?
Ultimately, my question is this:
Anyone successfully removed/refitted the housing of a P900???

@ ady909 ...hmmm that is strange on my P900 there is no Blue Internet button. You could have a prototype there or maybe even a P800?
