Ok Faithless and Lostchild seem to be the authority on these things. I have no idea how to get Vids on to my P900. Everytime i plug a URL in Opera, it downloads for about 9 minutes, then I get "Cant find a viewer to play clip". What gives? I thought PacketVideo played everything, and it's bundled with the phone. What player do I really need, where do I get it? And how do I get quicktime on my phone? I keep seeing people say Quicktime on my phone? Really? I'm a total idiot newbie when it comes to this, but I want to utilize my very expensive P900. How do I do this? Or can you refer me to anyplace that has this info? Thanks muchly!

I know that they are Mp4 and 3gp files. And I know you can't really get PC based programs on the P900 like Quicktime or Flash. I just mean how do I get vids using my P900? What components do I need, and where do I download them. Forget I ever said quicktime. And how come when I got to open a location in the PV player it starts with rstp:// ?

Thanks for any help all.

Download the .mp4 or .3gp files to your pc then drag and drop them to your VIDEO/UNFILED folder using your syncstation

All the videos in this thread should play on your phone

oh and there is a flash player for the p800, not sure if it runs on the p900...

Jus so u know....

If you really want video's you really have to encode them yourself, and there are many programs about to do it, and loads of tutorials, just do a little search for em..

Don't worry mate, i'm fairly new to all of this anyway !

It is easier than my SPV i used to have (what a rubbish phone that was)

As already mentioned on this thread, all of the videos in the following thread will play on your phone;

Just right click the link and save it on your PC, then transfer it from there onto your memory stick and the video section.

I watch the MP4's on MP4 player, the link is available on this site somewhere.

Hope this helps.

Just been to Macromedia's. There is no Flash player for the P800, nor the P900. There is one for the Motorola A920 3G phone, which also runs UIQ. Not sure if that works though

http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/devices/motorola_a920.html

Anyone keen to try this out?

@Valmont1978, I don't use my P900 to download off the net cause it's expensive to have internet connection for my P900 here so I'm not quite sure how it works with Opera.

Just want to know though, are you simply just clicking at the link or did you right click and save the file to your memory first?
