Hi,

If I format the drive C of the P900 will I lose my CDA number? If yes then will I be able to upgrade the firmware without this number using the sony ericsson update service? Please help me, because I really need to reformat drive C:

hmm I think that number is "burnd in" like a mac address in the computer when you format your c: on the computer your bios ot your mac adress etc will not change..
I think its similar here if not STUPID se

No, you don´t lose the CDA#! But you might lose your language and only get english... And the language files on SE website are unable to install if you have upgraded the software in the fone! Luckily its just to run the update again to get the language back!
