> Phone always restarts?????
Bookmark topic
Just got my P900. Previously had a P800 which installed programs with no problems with docking station. However when installing to the P900, the phone restarts itself every approx. 1 minute with the message "phone restarting to optimize performance"????
Contacted SE support who said it's a known issue because I never uninstalled the P800 suite, and recomended that I uninstall both suites, download a registry cleaner from download.com and then re-install the P900 suite. Did this but still the same
Can one of you experts advise please as it is really " doin' ma nut in !!! " Cheers

This is a memory problem with the P900, try and get a file managing software like SMan or Stacker installed into your phone and let them clear any running applications in your phone.

Or even better update to latest firmware, which cures this annoying bug!
Unfortunately this is still only available at service centres when released last week and not on the online update.

@Poo Poo
Do you know for definite that this cures the problem? I was maybe going to take my phone back to my local orange shop and complain, but if this definately works, I can go to my local SE centre in Glasgow who will flash it (You just leave it with them for 2 hours)
Please advise
(Nice one British Man...LOL I thought I had left the P900's "Annoy the f&%k out of my owner" setting to Yes, by mistake...

Originally on my P900 I had to temporarily disable 100 applications on my MS Duo before it stopped restarting plus modify the Opera browser to avoid downloading the cache files to the internal memory.
Since the update all applications now running and not a single case of "Restarting to improve performance...." since!!
Problem is you mention it's an Orange P900 - I don't believe it's available for these unless you want the generic firmware installed instead!
