> Can't synch p800 anymore

I used to be able to synch my p800 fine in the office with my pc (MS 2000 and Outlook) and thena few days ago I had a need to synch another phone, a Siemens and so I installed it's software.
Now I find that I can no longer sych the p800. The synch screen comes up for a few seconds but then up flashes another message box saying sycronisation failed. I can still back the phone up etc. I just cant't synch it. I have unistalled the Siemens software and also reinstalled the Sony software but no joy.
Our systems dept refuse to help saying they only support official company software and the phone software is not company software.
Anyone any ideas?
