hmmm I am wondering the same thing ..... I like Linux and at the moment I have a dualboot system with windows and Linux (Fedora Core 2).

The only thing that is left for me to fix is how to sync my P900 in Linux via the cradle. I found som etips on syncing but not concerning sync with the usbcradle.

Please, if you have any info to share I would be very grateful

I would be interested on some info here too, I too use a dualboot system with Fedora Core 2. Can I still install sis files using linux?

What about with macs? iSync works but can I use the desktop to install sis files?

With a Mac, it's as simple as sending the SIS file over BT. The phone will give you the option of installing or saving it. This also works with all sorts of files, pictures, mp3's, videos, and even simple text files.

As for synching, iSync seems to be doing a fine job so far; quick, reliable, and elegant.

My only disapointment is I can't browse my folders over BT as I could with a T630!

Have you tried MultiSync? It supports SyncML which is supported by the P-900.

I found some information about how to sync using MultiSync, but I only found info on how to sync using bluetooth.

GOwin, do you know how to use MultiSync to sync via the usbcradle? Or do anyone else for that matter ?

If I could get the syncing working I would be sooo happy

Have a look at http://www.sbellon.de/p900.html even if you don't have a Debian system. At the bottom there are links to related pages.
