Using filemanager on my P800 is it possible to find the EMS animations and sounds in order to extract them and save them in pictures & audio also. They could then be used in MMS too.

No, tried that.
I figure they must be located somewhere in the files but I can't find them, anyone have any ideas.
(in case anyones wondering I mean the animated faces and small sound files that can be put into an SMS)

they are actually stored as a .mbm file. So simply saving them isnt as easy as it sounds.

Couldn't that mbm file be some kind of archive, like zip for example,so it can be opened with some archiving program?

.mbm's are a file that contains many bitmap images in one file. If you open one using the built in px00 veiwer, youll see loads of images flashing away at you like an animated .gif.
Im not sure if you can simply open them in a program such as winzip, but you can decompile them using programs that support them
edit: z:\system\data\emsanimations.mbm btw

@ sony_eric
I can use them quite easily in SMS, my question was meaning saving them to the phones pictures and sounds folders so they can then be put into MMS or used as message tones and screensavers for example.
@ Mixin
thanks for your replies, found them. Not sure I can do much with the animations but got the sounds to do with as I please
They can be found in Z:\System\Data\ems\audio\ if anyone is interested.
