I got this problem starting today. Keylock isn't working at all. "Turn on keylock" disappeared from the menu. Lock screen is greyed out when I tap on the baterry icon in flip opened mode.

Did the search but found loads of posts that didn't have anything to do with my problem.

Plaese help me since keylock is pretty much an essential item that a phone should have (if it's keys aren't covered with a flip) IMHO.

If this is a bug.... aaaaaaaaaargh, someone will feel the pain!!!

Cheerz to ya all!

Hi, this happens when your phone is charging either on the cable directly or in the docking station.

I think its a bug in the P900. This happened to me once where the keylock option totally disappeared & the only solution was to do an internal format & it came back. (& yes this was when it was not on charge.)

Seems to have an answer how to fix it. (without formating)

I had the same issue, and I'm happy that it was such an easy (if somewhat obscure) fix. I just changed / reset all the alarm details, including the sound, and hey presto - keylock back again!

This happened to me after I let the bettery go completely flat overnight by mistake.. The only other thing I did that night before going to bed was re-organising a lot of my pictures / sounds.

Maybe this is something to do with it? If anyone else has this issue, maybe they could see if there are any common factors, so we can find out why this happened, and if it's likely to happen again.

Cheers again.. Thgis place is a great source of info / help!

Hi.

It must be due to a complete discharge of the battery. My P900 suffers from this very same problemwithout me having done s.th. unusual to it – except letting the phone powered on without charging for three days. No moving pictures, no bluetooth connection, no sync, nothing.

I too have had this problem, and thanks very much for the help, resetting the alarms worked for me!
For info, I too had let the battery completely discharge overnight.
Cheers

I had the same problem: after charging from low battery, the lock disappeared from the battery button and the flip-closed menu key. I saw this thread, and found that the time for one of the alarms had vanished. Simply setting this allowed me to lock my phone again.

It may be related to screen.dat. See http://developer.sonyericsson[....]d.do?forumId=14&threadid=4747.

If anyone knows where to submit a bug report, please let me know.

Cheers,
Mark
