I've been trying to set up a wap said. That wap easy. When it come to mime settings, I got stuck! Can anyone host my themes so that they are available for download via wap? I would be most grateful. Thanks in advance, Skin :-) This message was posted from a T610

Host them on tagvia.com, wap41.com or mywap.o2.co.uk. Also check out mobile9.com. Greetz This message was posted from a T300

I can give you partial access to my domain, with stuff like php support and gustbooks...but I first need to see a sample of your work before I would make my decision.

If your interested, send me a sample of your work to:

@ Sentertainment Thanks for the offer but you won't want to host my humble little T610 themes. You can see my themes at: http://freespace.virgin.net/sony.ericssont610themes/themes.htm My webpage is set up with all my themes on. I created a wappage using mywap.o2.co.uk and made links to my themes on hosted on my ISP's server (virgin.net). Does anybody know if Virgin's freespace supports wap downloads? Have I got to sort out MIME settings? What are my options people? This message was posted from a T610

Actually...
Your themes are good...they aren't anything special to make the phone look like it's actually running stuff like Linux, etc., but they are really good!

All of your themes have that perfect image for a phone, they don't have images on the statusbar or anything, but they look good that way...if you change your mind about getting some webspace from me, just message me back.
(My Domain already has the WML and THM MIME types set up!)

If you have a host that uses Unix or Linux and Apache(?):

1. Download the following file: http://www.notdavidbailey.com/ht.txt

2. Upload it to your server space

3. Rename it (using ftp) to .htaccess

That should sort it! Doesn't work on all servers but worth a try. Definately works on Unix varients running Apache.

Get some web space with MIME Types Support (you can often do MIME Support manually)
Then Learn WML, which is like HTML but more broken down.
Just searcg "WML Tutorial" on the web!

@ Sentertainment Is your offer of a wee bit of webspace (to host my themes) still on, my good friend? If so, send me an email (phil.jones1@o2.co.uk) and let me know what I have to do. Thanks in advance, Skin :-) This message was posted from a T610
