I have checked through previous threads but cannot get to the bottom of this problem, Basically I cannot seem to connect to the internet my number i am dialing is good as i tested it by dailing and got the usual stream of log on noise, when i attempt to connect the message appares "call was not answered" Also when attempting to dail up via laptop i get the message "Error 630" "The modem is not responding properly" I have got the infared switch to modem but must be missing something. help very much appreciated, its as if my modem is not on or responding or need something checked.

didnt you read his post?

The problem seems to be with you modem rather than the phone...

Sorry but have re checked the previous threads still cant seem to find the answer to get my dial up working on my modem or the internet

Harv, I have exactly the same problem. Everything else works perfectly, sync'ing, GPRS etc. Even exactly the same error messages. If you've found a solution please post. Thanks a lot.
