It's come to this. I need to buy an extra battery
as i can't stand the day or so i get from my phone.
Any links to sites or places (pref in the UK) to buy an extra
battery & charger? I know someone recommended a site
from china, but couldn't find it....
Any other things to watch out for when getting the battery? amp size?
Thanx

I have bought a number of spare batteries for my P800 and P900. Here is my experience:
1. There are companies that sell batteries FOR the Pxxx, usually hold about 770mAh of charge. These are about UKP6/7. These are not claimed to Se batteries. In general they are okay but not as good as the originals.
2. There are companies that make SE lool-a-likes and these can't be trusted (the printing and the silver logo look similar to the original on pictures but when you compare them to the OEM battery you can see they are not originals). These tend to originate from China / Hong Kong and sell for about UKP5/6.
3. Original SE batteries with either 770mAh or 1000mAh charge. These are usually UKP10/12 and UKP25/35 respectively. I have not seen the P900 battery on sale seperately.
I bought a desktop charger from eBay and was very disapponited. The connection of the SE charger/mains plug to the desktop unit is not perfect and therefore if you move the desktop charger while charging the connection can be interrupted. Also I have found that the P900 battery, which has a 1270mAm charge (approx) does not charge fully and it takes twice as long to charge when compared with the P900 as the charger (but is okay for the SE 770mAh battery).

Jah, your full of information once again!

Thanx
So it looks like i'll have to settle for a backup which will serve
just in times of desperation and unexpected nights away from the
house with my charger
I'm not a fan of ebay, but will keep on looking around for somewhere
which has those specs you mentioned.
If anyone can recommend a site, would be great!
