Heya all,

Friend called me up at 5 in the morning all spastic because she can't get my T68i to roam. Understandably the more time that she will not have cell coverage/reception she will feel more insecure, highly strung and angry towards happy normal people.

Was wondering whether the T68i had automatic roaming. I an't remember if it had because i threw away the manuals and I might be getting confused with the Motorola V60g. I think with the V60 you had to manaully set the band from 900/1800 to 1900. Is the T68i the same?

She also lost my volume button. It apparently fell off. Oh well more reason to love and treasure my T610 Sorry I am in a ramble hobo mood. I dont work well when I have to be woken up early on a Sunday morning.

T68 will automatically switch between the frequencies... has she checked so her network provider has a roaming agreement with local providers and that the 1900MHz network is available where she is located?

Thanks for that.

Nah i have to give them a call down here. They open in a couple of minutes so i will be the first person to bug them. Hurrah.

I do have a feeling that they haven't fixed up her roaming properly.

also, when you buy a new face plate for the t68 (which is super super cheap) it comes with a volume slider.
