> SMSPlus Vs Goboy which is better?
Bookmark topic
Hey everyone,
Personally i've had no joy with goboy, hey that rhymes!, frankly with all respect to the designers efforts, it just doesnt work well, or at least i havnt found a rom that works well (pls tell me if u guys have experienced otherwise). SMSPlus on the other hand is a MUST have app for all in my opinion, the roms work well and the sound is good.
One other thing though, has anyone actually completed a game successfully, the controls are a bit hard to get used to and games like sonic move quite fast, still maybe it just takes time to get used too.

yeah, i managed to finish r-type on sms plus. the only problem is, the prog seemed to really drain my battery when it was installed.... goboy didn't work well for me at all-almost impossible to control, even with tetris! (unless anyone out there can tell us what we're doing wrong?!)

pm me your email address and i'll send you a copy of mine-it works well. ... just on the subject of emulators, its a pity emame doesnt have a greater compatibility list-street fighter 2 turbo, though probably uncontrollable, would be amazing!

I kind of left emame out of this.......i personally couldnt be bothered with it as i thought it would be too much hassle to mess around with.....anyone want to say anything in emame's favour in this discussion? Particularly if any roms work exceptionally well etc etc.
I'd just like to say I dont mean any disrespect to any symbian developers by my opinions!

Hi try this link for almost every sms rom ever developed, including street fighter, which works perfectly albeit impossible to control, sonic pinball is a goodun though, enjoy.

'scuse me? is that street fighter 2? was that ever released on master system?!...
anyways, surely a megadrive/snes emulator would be possible?! now, that WOULD rock! also, the amiga emu discussed on another thread looks very promising.

The amiga emulator called e32frodo seems cool, I have the sis file but as yet no roms, so no idea how it works, the sms seems to be the most robust piece of software with nearly all the roms actually working! unlike emame which is pap!! Escummvm is the one for me though, playing all the lucas arts games like a dream and being point and click games, they suit the p800/900 interface nicely.
