On the Sonyericsson web online update service for P900, the CDA 162003/3 seems to be no longer supported !!! What does it mean ? Thanks.

Good news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just checked for updates again on SE site, the latest firmware org. R3A06 is now available for all CDAs from 162003/2 to 162003/8!!!!!!! Yaaaaaaaahhhhhhooooooooo!!!!! Dunno about after 162003/8 though.
You guys heard it here first!! Hahaha!
Updating now...... will keep you guys posted as to wert is the obvious difference (if any!!! ) Later...

"For CDA162003/3, the latest organiser version is R3A06. Now you need to compare this version number with the one in your phone"

My CDA number is “CDA162004/14 R2B01” but I can't see that it is in any way branded and it is not locked. Just wondering about the validity of pervious messages stating that a CDA number with 2004/? means it is a branded phone.

CDA162003/X - uses a generic configuration file
CDA162004/X - uses a customized configuration file (branded versions, market specific versions for example)
2004/14 is the HongKong Latin version.
