> Help on P900

i bought a p900 4 days ago and i install application with the usb station. when i install aplication on the phone sometimes the phone restarts and the phone says it has been restarted to increase the performance or somethign like that, then i reinstall the application and the program goes, some of the application has been installed then it continues fron the point is the phone restarted from.
Does this noramlly happen on a P900? is this nromal? or is there something wrong with my phone?

The problem you have is based on your current Firmware. You should do an online update of your Firmware, which will take you approximate two hours (with backup and sync). The new fw is said to solve this problem. You can read on topics on the new realese what experiances people are having with the uppgrade.
A few tips to a new user:
1. Get Ogg. player and some nice skins. Ogg player is an alternativ to mp3 and with the new skins get a realy nice look.
2. Get Sman ore Taskman. The first one is free and the second is free if you buy Tracker. What they do, is making it possible to close running apps and in that way saving battery.
3. Get Tracker 3., it really boost your internal layout on your phone ($20)
4. Download som great themes (you can find some great sites if you do a search here).
5. For nice music videos se a thread reffering to this, they are all free thanks to some chaps at Esato.

i searched for the firmware and i found out that i have the latest firmware installed according to my CDA number. so i still install the firmware again? and does battery need to be fully charged 100% for the firmware upgrade/reinstallation?
if i reinstall/upgrade the firmware do i have to reinstall all my games and applications that i installed?
if that is a yes, then thats another 1 hour of apps and games installation.

@kam03, The only app i know of that installs in parts with a shutdown/startup automatically happening is "Classic arcade games pack 2" but it installs like that on EVERYONES P9, its no big deal & most apps should not do this, it is no big deal really.

i got the phone from voda phone contract and i displays the vods logo on start up and shut down so if i upgrade/reinstall the firmware will it remove this logo? it would be good if it did.
