I'm on Orange in the UK using a P900. I'm about to take delivery of a new car which has an inbuilt telephone handsfree kit using a Nokia 6310 (urgghhh!) and I'd like to use this without having to swap the SIM from the P900 to the Nokia.

Is there a way (or something I can buy) to clone my SIM card so I can have it in the Nokia. I presume how it works is that so long as both phones aren't on simultaneously it'll work fine? Or is there a better option (other than throwing away the Nokia of course which isn't really an option).

I'm also assuming Orange UK wouldn't offer this service??

Thanks, in advance.

Richard.

@teamedition, No, you can't clone UK sims like you can SIMcards used in most other parts of the world, a few years ago all UK networks went over to the later (Non cloneable SIMcards), the software & blank SIMS & card reader/writer kits are available easily but they are of no use with the latest SIMcards, here in UK.(The companies are trying hard to break the new type SIMS coding but they have not done it yet (The older SIMS could take as long as 10hrs to hack,& the new ones are far more secure.

Thank's guys.

So, the bottom line is you can't clone a UK SIM and Orange don't offer the service of having a second identical SIM?

Hmmm.... back to the drawing board. The idea of swapping the SIM is more trouble than it's worth I think!

Unless anyone else has an idea?

The idea is like axxx allready said, buy a prepay card stick that into neukia, and when you,re going for that drive, simply divert incoming calls on your subscribed number, to the neukia! Pieca cake ;-) This message was posted from a T610
