Is there a way i could flash my phone with firmware that doesn't correspond to my organizer version? I have CDA162003/11 R1B which is the Hong Kong version. I would like to permanently change it to the UK English or American English (if its available). Does anyone know how to do this? Can one manually take a downloaded firmware and simply replace the one in the "Update Service" folder? Or do i need to go through a retail flashing service? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

you can't do that unfortunately. If you go to a SE service centre then you can get your phone flashed with original SE firmware which will also change your CDA number. Then you will be able to get the latest updates when they come out.

I found a link to a post where a company in LA says they can flash p900's: http://www.howardforums.com/archive/topic/243596-1.html
I tried calling but they weren't there. Is this even possible? I read elsewhere that the phones are exactly the same hardware but that it is not possible to flash different organizer versions?

Could someone also tell me where the SE service centers in the US are located?
