A one inch diameter semicircle at the bottom right corner of the screen has stopped responding to touch. im guessing one of the tiny touch sensors has failed. Looks like ill be making a delivery to Celestica tomorrow but the thing is, ive previously opened my p900 to clean/maintain it, so will it still be covered by warranty? I can see no evidence of any kind of seal of warranty, and no electrical contacts are broken when you open it so im assuming im ok...??
Also, if i get another handset with a different imei, what happens with all the apps ive "paid" for?? do i have to buy em again?

So long as you do not tell them that you have opened the phone they cannot tell.
I've have opened mine a few times and they have been unable to tell.
The chances are, they will replace the screen rather than the phone, so your IMEI would stay the same.

It works out cheaper for them to replace the screen rather than the phone itself

Does anyone know if the screen on a P*00 unclips or needs soldering? My P800 screen is scratched and I was thinking of buying a new one. Very expensive though

I had a dead pixel on my P900 so I returned it and got a new handset instead of a new screen!
