So the T610 can capture amr voices from its mic,but can you use it as ringtones? if yes are they loud enough?

with the current firmware r3cxxx i have in my phone
they AMR sounds really loud

(finally)
now let's just hope

put's the feature in next firmware
to allow them being used as ringtones!
i know this isn't the case yet in r4dxxx
this and 'sound on receiving new email', would actually finish off
the phone for me.
this seems to been added in r4dxxx
(well ok...: more people per group, more groups, ringertone per group, all ringtones selectable for sms) muhahaha
so i basicly will wait for for r6xxxx or later, that is if any new f.w. will be made after r4d
[editmode on] r4d shouldbe r4cxxx
and yes indeed boba, AMR sounds should also be made usable as clock alarm ringer! i agree

[/editmode off]

Then all u need is some pc software that can read the amr files, which will allow u to clean it up and make it sound clearer. I tried to read amr file on pc,but could not, didn't tink u could.
Any1 know if there is?

The answer to the question about a pc software that can play .amr files is (i donīt like this): the nokia multimedia player for the 7650. You can download it from the n***a-site. I don't know if you can edit sounds in the program, but no problem listening....
Here is a link (if it works...)

Does anyone here actually send their wishes for features to

?
I don't think

will notice that alot of ppl want .amr ring tones unless someone gives them the idea

Far better for everyone to put their wishes on a well-respected web site and then give se a link to it.
Still probably wouldn't do much good, but large and well organised petitions often have more clout than numerous individuals submitting their thoughts one-by-one via email.
Food for thought, that's all

I am only interested in transfering .amr onto pc. Quick Time 6 can read them.
