I have this nokia 3510i and i head that there is a bug that causes this phone to melfunction when you use the GPRS. So I was told by a friend of mine I didnt try it but I would like to hear some other oppinion on it or a similar expiriance.

I doubt that someone here has had a "similar experience" since this is mainly a SE forum.

Perhaps if this was posted in the "Other Manufacturers" thread, your chances would increase.

Just wait a bit until a mod transfer it to the appropriate section.
You don't need to create a new one.

yes, its true. d 3510i has got a prob, probably hw failure, by constantly using gprs d fone turn off from itself. my friend at /// cleared me up this prob last summer, as a friend of mine bought 1. i "tested" 4 some days and it really came, that after 10-15 min surfing on wap by gprs d fone turned off. i suggested him 2 contact nokia, donnow how he fixed it. it was alredy a prob for d fone 2 b a nokia, so d bug is allowed. think noktendo fixed it later by upgrading. reg

my 3530 also has a problem. instead the shutting off when using gprs, the signal would disappear so i would restart my phone all over again just to get the signal because Manual Signal search would not do it.
