Hey gang, how come the INTERNET browser on the P900 is so pants?! I mean every single time I try to use it to download an MP3 or Mp4 or even a lousy wave I get "ENTITY TOO LARGE" on it. Yet when I use Opera it goes through no problem. Does the default browser have any other use besides getting me to TZONES (T-Mobile)? Are my settings on it out of whack? Thanks much

I'm not certain, but I think that many network operators still put a file size limit on their WAP connections (AFAIK doesn't apply to GPRS for Internet, only WAP-only connections).
It could be that the files you're trying to open are WAP pages, and link to files over a certain size.
I can't remember what the size was though... it was something like 40kb I think, but my memory is shot so I could be wrong.

hey Valmont1978,
i just installed Opera but me and some other users here seem to have trouble with various sites with Opera when they are OK with the default browser.
i am tempted to fall back to my default browser unless i get a response from people here saying there are some specific settings one needs to do for Opera for Tmobile which i am not aware of.
What is the real advantages of using Opera anyway, is it speed or otherwise?

Make sure your browser is using internet gprs and not wap gprs cos wap is crap. control panel>connections>wap accounts>preferred. untick the "use wap account" box.

In India, max file size over wap is around 8-10kb. Hence use a gprs conn.

I guess there are not enough memory to hold your downloaded object.
