Lost 64mb stick (dropped phone) and need to restore basic stuff to 16mb stick.
Restore fails as there is insufficient memory.
How can I edit the archieve (with its crappy new xx.dat files!!) to create a stripped down archieve to restore?
Perhaps theres a way to extract the files, then copy them over using file manager? But the xx.dat issue!!
Have searched forums in detail...I'm no n00bie.
Am I SCREWED??

first format your 16 mb stick then rename on pc the backup extension from .ecs to .zip and browse the files u want. Then copy the files to your duo using FileManager. No problem with .dat!
