> P800 as a remote?
Bookmark topic
Hi!
Did'nt find anything on the search so I ask it.
Can I use my P800 as a remote for my TV-card in the computer.
I've read that you can control winamp and stuff via Bluetooth,
so I must be able to use P800 as a remote for the TV-card, right?
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Via bluetooth will be hard, as the TV card software itself has to be written to accept commands from bluetooth software, etc.
But for normal TVs and VCRs, you can use IRRemote.

I was afraid for that.
Would be perfect to use Bluetooth when I have the Computer in the bedroom.
Well, thanks for making that clear for me.

Have had limited successes with "ir remote uiq" from
www.my-symbian.com - some Sony and some Akai TV's and Videos - I think the older the device the more likely you are able to control it using this software
