Folks,

If you have a choice between a brand new t610 & z600, anyway, they are identical software wise...kung kayo ano bibilhin niyo? I'll be upgrading from a t68i (actually more, like adding a new SE phone

In terms of memory, same lang ba ang t68i, t610 & z600? 2MB => 510 phonebook memory? No additional memory ba?

Also, how much na kaya brand new nowadays...both warrantied/non-warrantied...thanks in advance ppl!

T610 and z 600 are not the same. The z600 has better reception and faster browser. The t610 is a toy. This message was posted from a Z600

the t610 is not a toy and it is not that different from the z600; it only looks better

the only consideration is the look. do you want a clamshell phone or a sleek, elegant one?

Another major difference between the T610 and the Z600 is the screen color depth. Z600 has 65,000 colors so images will look much much better in the Z600 than the T610. I tried this already and sharp, colorful images in a Z600 screen looks faded and "washed out" in a T610 screen.

Another consideration may be the bulge you are willing to have with your new phone. I have to say, the Z600 gives me a considerable bulge when I put it in my pocket (cos it's thicker)--whether it's in my breast pocket or in my pants pocket (not trying to be dirty here...). The T610 however is much more discreet when in your pocket. Believe me, as a professional, you wouldn't want to come into your office looking like a pack mule. But if you're the belt case kind of guy then the bulge wouldn't be a problem.

I am T610 user. T610 is not good. Super panget camera and also not good screen. so much better to buy z600.

both have 65k color screen but T610 is STN and Z600 is TFD. what this means is Z600 screen is much brighter and much richer resolution and contrasts, and doesn't have the T610 problem of being very difficult to read under the sun. Having used both, believe me, there is no comparison. Z600 screen is WAY better. it's like comparing a P900 screen to a T68. Really!

Other advantages of Z600:

- separate speaker for ringtones so tones are allowed to play at full volume right away, instead of the irritating gradually increasing volume

- higher capacity battery => 780 mAh for Z600 as opposed to 700 mAh for T610

- theoretically lower power consumption when in flip-closed mode since only the litle blue screen lights up when when alerts arrive or to check phone status as opposed to the full color display.

- extremely well built and has a very high end feel to it, with the beautiful aluminum body

- full-sized keypad is MUCH more comfortable to use

- RF reception is much better than T610's

the only question is whether you like clamshell phones or not. if you do, then the extra 2,500 for the Z600 (based on semicon prices) is very much worth it. no question as to which one i would get. it is my favorite non-smartphone!

well tbh t610 reception issues are largely a myth, except for early hardwares.

my preference is for z600 (obviously) due to better screen quality. i never used to like clams until i got one, but the additional screen protection is great. the size also is not an issue.
