hi there, I have found this post, since it is a bit old I would like to know if is there any plugin to use an OGG file as a ringtone.
The Nokia 6600 has one:

your .ogg file was obviously converted from another source originally..... if it was mp3 just install that on your phone and use it as your ringtone!

Hi Greeny,
I know that I can use a MP# file as a Ringtone, but the OGG Files are much smaller, that's why I would like to use an OGG ringtone.

if you use mp3 cutter program and just design your own ringtones, you'll get sensibly sized files anyway - i mean 200-1000kb aint gonna hurt your phones memory!!

That's great, which software do you have to edit (cut) the MP3 file, I've found a software called Audacity and it's pretty good.
Thanks again.

Use dBpowerAMP to convert your ringtones to MP3Pro with a 64-96kbps bitrate, works fine on p900

(1 minute of sound is about 600-700kb).
