Try duracell NiMH 750 mAh with a slow charger at a standard charge of 75mA. This gives me 38 hours audio play with a 128 MS duo stick. Maybe your HBM is faulty?

I have nothing to gain, by lying. Dont believe me, Go to my group and you'll find a picture of my HBM-30. Where as the 38 hours, i cant prove but if anyone does buy the batteries I recommened they will tell you.

I believe spondas though my energizer 1000 mah rechargable batt lasted 40+hrs with the hbm-30. so i guess a 750mah batt would last abt as long as he mentioned
