Sorry Guys it doesn't help any more. Looks like SE have managed to stop us from unbrading now by changing something in the session ID, as no matter how fast you copy and paste the ID it still gives the "cannot connect to server" fatal error.
Sorry folks, you guys like me should have done this sooner

Your right but try this, get the f/w for someone
who did it all ready.
I have it but I only have a 56K and its about 19 megs.
now copy and paste it into the software-data
folder.
Now use the online up date as normal and use the
RECOVERY option.
This way dosent turn on the phone to check the CDA
number because it thinks the phone it not working
and it will check the software-data folder and it
should just flash the phone without downloading.
This is how I did my phone. The first time I tryed it
it stoped at 4% but the second time it was fine.
if this works for you then every one can do it and
once the CDA has change you can use the update
service as normal.
Good luck mate and let me know how you get on.

I just tryed to use the update service but now it wants
to down load a new PC-client.
This must be because thay changed the software
to stop the unbrander prog working.

What is the address for the online upgrade?
I'm trying from the link on the SE P900 page and I'm just getting it does not exist.
It hasn't worked for me for 2 days, yet I see in a post above it is working for someone else today...
Cheers
Marc

@T1000
Can you tell me how exactly you've done that? I (and a few others in the Xerodiac group) have tried it, copied the CDA162003/2 files into the folder software-data, then ran recovery mode. It then somehow recognised that they were the wrong files, downloaded the 1632004/8 files and installed them. So back to the original branded firmware...
If you check the log file, there seems to be a signature that didn't match, that's why it downloaded new files.
Any idea? I would be eternally grateful

I wonder what happens, if the files are renamed?
