I think we have some confusion here:

HPM-10 is an MMC ONLY device.

HBM-30 is Memory Stick Duo ONLY.

No such thing as the HBM-10

Of course! I ment HPM-10. Memory Stick Duo would not fit in the old HPM-10. SD and MMC look the same. Same connection points and so on. The only difference I know is that SD is a little bit thicker. Has anyone tried a SD-card with HPM-10??? I got a 64Mb MMC, and a 128Mb MMC. But work offered me SD-cards very, very cheap!

SD cards has some security features that MMC cards doesn't have, transfer speeds are also faster on SD cards.

a MMC cardreader can only read MMC, but a SD reader can handle both MMC and SD.

And heres what the search gives you forhpm and sd cards

I got my hpm-10 the other day and yesterday i paid £30 for a 128mb mmc,i think these are pretty expensive when i compare my missus's Sony minidisc disc's have approx 150mb each and she has a big box of blank ones waiting for music to be put on them! You know what i mean?

As people keep saying in this forum (if you search you'll find it) SD cards do NOT work in the HPM-10 as SD cards are thicker and will not fit in an MMC slot. MMC cards will fit in an SD slot but the HPM-10 player has an MMC slot and therefore only MMC cards will work.
