I'm like you Leo and have used avantgo since my days with palm V, Vx and then pocketpcs since the first one and I cannot understand why they haven't yet produced a P800/P900 version when they do have a series 60 version for the likes of 3650 etc. There were lots of rumours last year about them developing it but nothing so far

Why not lobby Avantgo to support Symbian? I sent their support people an email.

I sent them an email a year ago when I had a p800...
actually I use avantgo so much that I use their paid service so I can get 8mb instead of the standard 2mb
might be worth another email though

I used to use Avantgo loads.. also on my Paml V & Vx... I loved the BBC and the Guardian ones in particular... it seems strange they dont do anything similar now. But I now view the Low graphics version of the bbc website on my P900, this seems as good if not better than the Avantgo version.

@ Masseur yes its online, rather than offline viewing. The text only link above is a different one to the one I use.
I just go to
www.bbc.co.uk then click the "low graphics version" its very good.. to have a few pics too!
