When I want to compose and send email with my T68i the maximum length of one email is only 300 characters.

What about T610 and T630?

Thanks!
It's really strange that SonyEricsson does not extend it. (As we know, the phone receive much longer email in one piece)

To 710:

Using wap you are constantly online. But for me it is more comfortable to write email in standby mode using e-post client [program, menu]. Also it is better for battery.

I had to read my email via wap only then, when the phone does not handle the character set of the email I got. Here in Estonia some people use character set "Baltic" in their computers. But T68i don't know "Baltic" character set.

So I log in my email wap-address and the problem is solved, because I read the email in server and there the character set does not matter.

Sometimes when I want to write bigger email than 300 characters, I just send 2-3 emails at once. But maybe in future I try to send bigger email using wap - if the email must be in one piece.

@Aivar: I use GPRS so it costs me nothing while writing the email. And even if i`d cost something, i have illimted connections on 4$/month.I just found out it`s more than 300 chars on wap, that`s why i use it.

That could be headers that take up memory and prevent the phone from operating with bigger letters! The email headers are bulky This message was posted from a WAP device

To 701: Have you experienced how long email you can write while being logged in wap-address? How many characters?

@Aivar: I don't know exactly how many cuz i didn't count them but i could be alt least 400.It's up to the server of the email i think if the phone's capable of buffering more.I use a german email with www/wap interface.
