I don't know what happened, but now the text on my FLIP CLOSED is now BOLD, WHITE and LARGE, and a great deal of text on Opera and other applications is all out of whack. The Zoom was never adjusted, how did this happen? I did a master reset (BIG MISTAKE), and it did nothing. Does anyone know what happened? How to fix? Figured I'd ask while I reprogram 53 voice contacts.

Try setting zoom to small in sms preferences, and your sms's with flip closed will be smaller

I appreciate the advice. Unfortunately it didn't help. What if I upgraded the firmware? Would that fix it? And has this happened to anybody else?

The text is now large and bold on :
FLIP CLOSED
CONTACTS LIST
and OPERA viewed websites.

Note: No adjustments where made to make this happen to the phone and it remains even after a painstaking master reset. This happened yesterday when I put in my new 128MB Memory Card and formatted it.

Do you have SMan 1.3 installed? You might have accidentally changed the system font using the utility in the past and since then, only restarted your phone after you formatted your new 128mb memory stick.

If you don't have SMan installed and since you started with the Master Reset already, you might want to format the internal storage. Very painfull indeed.

I had the same problem. I got it after chaning System Fonts through Sman, Delete the *.ttf files out your c:\system\fonts directory, restart the phone and everything will be fine.

@molski: Why delete all the TTF files when there is a RESET option in SMan's "Set system font" option?... This message was posted from a WAP device

@ajack

Your right about that. I like the standard font, so I tested it only once with another .ttf font. After I saw the "Opera problem" I just deleted my 'extra' font, that worked, next time I will use the Reset button
