IMHO if wanted the Z200 to have MMS they would have given it in the first place, so I doubt very much that they will add it later

Yeah but that was annouced when the t68 first went on sale, that they would add MMS support later...

Seems like as if :se: reckons fashionable people don't need mms. They just need cool looking phones even though they are only as good as calculators or desk phones. At least its better than the Xelibri. :D This message was posted from a WAP device

you can't compare this with T68.

When the T68 came out there were no live MMS servers in the world so Ericsson did not include it in the original firmware until more testing had been done with the MMS servers that were being tested by various phone companies.

Ericsson/:se: only released the MMS firmware upgrade as MMS servers came online with those phone companies

I have to disagree about who would use fashion phones. Alot of people I know still just have the basic nokia which just about calls and texts. Alot of these people don't want complicated top of the range phones like the T610/Z600/T30 and the P series phones. What they are looking for is something which looks nice (which may I add I think the z200 does) and has the features they want which are mainly text because thats what they use the most. What I think SE should have done is made to versions of the z200, the standard z200 and z300 or something which was more in line with the the z600 features. I know then I'd definatly swap my T610 for a z200.

Don't you have a Z200 now?

I think it was stupid of not to include MMS. It couldn't have costed anything to them, could it? Maybe a little extra but the real thing is trhat then they would've felt guilty to set the price a bit higher? I don't know but that's what I figured...

@Universal Exports - No I don't have one I have a T610 just like the look of the Z200 so thats why my pic is of one.

But maybe the Z200 is supposed to just be a low end phone, I mean if we are going to start why not add MMS, then why not add a camera, then why not add bluetooth, then this EDGE I'm hearing so much about, and why not just make it a p900 beater? I suppose SE just wanted a phone which is stylish and appeals to the younger generation 10 - 20ish maybe. If that was the idea then I think that they have done a good job because I'm geussing a 13 yearold or so wouldn't care to much about bluetooth, or mms they just want to call their mates.
