if anyone can help that would be great:
i can trying to convert mpeg into mp4 using mpegale but when i do i the original mpeg is smaller than the new mp4!
what am i doing worng!

i looked at this site and did the same! i have bevis and butthead movie and its only about 40meg so why is a 20min vid about 50 wen i did it!

Your source mpeg is just poor quality... with the bitrates used in the howardforums tutorial you will get about 2 megs per minute. If your source is worse than that theres not much point use a lower bitrate or half the resolution.
