One thing that bothers me on SonyEricsson phones is that you can't disable saving of sent SMS. Well at least you can't on cheaper phones like T100 or T310.
The memory is very limited on such models and when phone saves every sent SMS very soon they fill up all space and you become unable to receive any new messages.
The lack of possibility to disable auto sent SMS saving is a huge miss.

Well I wouldnt say its a big miss but I must agree that a mobile phone should be "flexible" in order to satisfy every customer's demands.

Well I think that it's a very good feature but what you can do is delete every message after the status report

Of course I can delete them. I can even do a "Delete all" but that's not the point. I don't want them saved in the first place. Because I don't want to think about it every time I send an SMS/MMS. And don't want to check how much memory is taken by sent SMS/MMS when I don't get space for stuff.
An option to turn this feature on/off is such a triviality that I can't understand why they did not include it.
And the fact is that details like these can push a customer away from all SE products.

i quite like having them there, for example if i send a long text and something goes wrong, e.g it does not reach the person you are tryin to send it to, then you can just go to sent messages and send again without having to write it again. Also i thought i saw somewhere on the T310 you can make it so it only stays there a certain time, but i am unsure about that

Yes, that's exactly my point: you like them saved, I don't.
So I should be able to disable it. Unfortunately I am not.
I have T310 too and I didn't see any option like you mention.

Well I dont think that SE will create a firmware with this option for the sent messages.

well i only remember seeing an option to keep something for 1 hour, 1 week etc but not sure if it was talking about sent messages or what. yes i do understand what you mean. Especially with the very very little memory the T310 has. il have a look and see if the option was to do with your problem

No that's how much time the operator has to save your message when it's not delivered, if you say 1 day and the person you sent it turn his phone on after two days he wont have the message but when it's one week he will have it
