I have had an Orange phone all my life and had an @orange.net account. I recently upgraded my phone to o2 and use the o2 GPRS and MMS client to access net and send pics.

However I am having some serious trouble even logging into Orannge via GPRS and all the Orange settign I have tried for the e-mail client just keep coming back with "Server not found".

Does o2 block accessing orange e-mails?

If anyone has the correct settings (tried the sony and orange site but they dont work) I would be in your debt forever!

Hi, Orange mailservers can be used with other connections, i also use orange mail on a normal IP dailup, works fine, but you just need the right email settings for Orange and a connection to the internet, i've read in other topics that o2 GPRS doesn't allow to acces the internet, but only the o2 mailservers, wap and the o2 www Homepage..So just make a other data account on your phone to acces the internet. A normal home dialup will do fine if your o2 line supports Data connections. (most postpaid support it)

I supposed you using the built in Email Client of your phone? than its the internet connection of o2 that doesn't work for you, i think, but if you have acces to wap its still possible to acces your orange mail, go with your phone to http://webcab.de and enter your orange email account details...
goodluck...
