Rember the old "Be true to your avatars!"-thread? Unfortunatly, it was locked (can't remember why).
Now I can see more people than ever who is "lying" with thier avatars. So I'll revive the thread.
Rules:
Try to let this thread run by not posting crap and stuff like that. You can do that here.
Don't just say, "I like this one". But explain why you choose not to have your real phone as avatar. And possibly also what it's supposed to tell us about you.
Be true to your avatars!

And as last time:
Please people, have a sense of humor!

Well, summarized version of my post in the other thread: [quote]I appreciate that esato is an oriented forum. I also appreciate that we cannot use personalised avatars (apart from certain mods ).

However, the way I see it, avatars express something about you. That something is not necessarily the phone you own, it can just as well be the one you liked best or the one you long for most. Or just one that stands out from the crowd. I've used T200 avatar for quite a while, not because I have a t200 but because it was different from 'mainstream avatars' so to speak.

If I ever post a question, I always include what type of phone I'm talking about anyway. so there is no cause for confusion there.

So I'll happily continue picking avatars I like, as i am sure so will other ppl. And in the meantime I dream of personalised avatars.

Well, that's about it. I too do not remember why the old thread was locked but perhaps it was simply because the subject had been exhausted?

Don't worry so much about other ppl's avatars, just let them be.

I don't mind really, have a sense of humor. But it does make one a a little confused when someone says that he want'sto know about a phone (wich he has as avatar) before he buy's it.
Updated rule: See above.

TBH if i upgrade my phone, i think i'll stay with my T68i avatar, as i love the looks of the T68i and the only reason i'd be updating is, to update the features, the looks are ok

Great, then it'll be easier to help you when you need it.
(everybody, only because I think we all should be tru to oeur avatars, I don't think that everybody who isn't is stupid or even anything like it. I'm not mad at anyone, and finally I understand why somebody chose not to have thier true phonmes as avatars. Phwee, now that's over.)
