My service is Cingular. I have text messaging, wireless internet express, and MMS supposedly enabled. I am able to receive text messages on my phone via e-mail by sending to [mynumber]@mobile.mycingular.com. When I send e-mail to [mynumber]@mms.mycingular.com, as I was told to by customer service, I don't receive anything on my phone. I have the phone configured to accept MMS messages.

I want to send a MIDI file to use as a ring tone :/ As far as I know that should be possible with this phone and MMS. Please help if you have any advice for me.

Thank you.

Hi welcome to esato The txt msg from e-mail should have gone to ur sms inbox ;-? I dunno about that. But if u wanna send a midi or pics, themes etc, u can use INFRARED, bluetoth :bt:, cable, etc depending on ur phone. oR if u donthave any of this use euploader.com wHTS ur phone??

Hello ermular... you should be able to send pictures, tones and text to that address (number@mms.mycingular.com)... but at times, it will fail. I've tried the same with a bad hit/miss ratio when sending mms via email. Just keep trying.. Or, send an MMS from your phone to your email addy and reply with the attachments (ringtones, pics, etc). Good luck.

Try calling tech support and have them send you a MMS. I have found that features magically start working
