> Is that possible? with Motorola HS-810
Bookmark topic
I'm trying to connect my Motorola HS-810 to my VAIO laptop, so maybe i can use it as a wireless mic and headphone, since the built-in mic never works on my VAIO

.
Is there any software can help me to do so?
I really need it to use with the MSN messenger, thx.

You can do this. But the bluetooth connection on your VAIO must support the relevant profiles.
The profiles you want are: Audio Gateway, Headset, and Handsfree.
If you have these profiles, then it should work without any probs.

it seems that it doesn't have profiles installed in "my bluetooth place" when i connect my bluetooth headset to the laptop.
is there a third party software i can use? for example, like the MochaPPP, i use it to cennect and browse internet with my Clie PDA via Bluethooth.

er...my Xircom Bluetooth PCMCIA card can recognise the Motorola Headset as a "Headset" in the device class field while i right on the properties.
However, it only shows "serial port" on the service field.
I've done a search on all the posts, looks like someone tried to do the same thing one or two years ago.

on that post, someone created a enhanced driver to most of the BT dongles, unfortunately there is no one for the Xircom Credit Card BT dongle.
Has anyone get a similar driver? so that i can use the "Voice Gateway" with my Motorola BT headset.
It seems the official Xircom driver doesn't support the "Voice Gateway".
