My P900 (162003/11 - Generic Hong Kong) is now partially broken after an unsuccessful attempt at Online Updating it's firmware. Everything goes well up until the progress bar reaches 39%. It simply stops and reports that it lost communication with the phone. I've tried a different PC all running Windows XP (SP1), different USB ports and even tried the updater's restore feature. Nothing works. My phone is not dead but several built-in (firmware) apps like Contacts and Calendar don't work. Do I need to send it in to Sony Ericsson or has someone else experienced this problem and found a work-around? Please advise! Thanks!

get this and try to full charge ur phone battery first and install java runtime
from
http://www.java.com/
and it will work
i had the same problem
when i installed java and full charged my phone then restart my pc
it worked ...

Thanks for the reply... I do have seus_setup113.exe installed. When it installed it also add some Java Runtime package. No sure which version. I'm pretty sure that my battery was charged, it was probably charging the entire time I was trying the update. It is ok to have the AC power adapter pluged into the Synchstation while updating isn't it.
Also, was the Java I had the problem or have others experienced other problems?
