First of all, read your owners manual (its written in my p800 one, should be in the p900 one too hmm?). Then make sure you have IR or a Data cable, then follow instructions. You can also check SE's website for manuals and support.

alright, i actually spent a whole night trying to figure out how this worked, in the end, i got it working by using my infra red modem turned on, on the p900 options, but i didn't install the p900 modem drivers into windows xp, i just used the standard modem over IR link which windows xp installs itself, then i just created a new network connection and chose orange gprs and used gprs to connect to the web, it is really handy for just when i need to do the odd random stuff on the internet, but uhhh, yeah, read the manual, then when you get an idea of what you need to do, just dont' install the recommended p900 drivers, but instead, use the generic driver, and instead of going to the add connection in the p800/p900 suite package, just go to control panel, network connections and add one in that way, oh, i don't need to disable the com port that the sync cradle is using, i figured that i was meant to do that after i got mine working, but then since it works, i didn't think i'd need to alter any of those settings

Did you try using the USB Sync Station to make the P900 a modem?
