This is not fone related, but maybe someone has encountered the same problem.
I tried putting my o2 mail settings into outlook but it just won't pick up the mail. 2day o2 tell me they will look into it, sounds like they were bullshiting me. From o/e i pick up mail from an orange and bt accounts, but no o2, can anyone shed any light?

What settings are you using for incoming and outgoing mail servers?
I'll try it with my log-in...

Hmmm... works fine for me in Outlook Express, Entourage and Apple Mail.
I had to use my full e-mail address as the log-in [myname@o2.co.uk] but apart from that it was fine.
I have noticed that I can't log-on to the O2 Email section of the web-site in Explorer though, it just goes into a never ending Refresh loop...
I'm not sure what to suggest...

Thanks for that. Mine does the same on the o2 mail website, it just goes round in a constant loop. Maybe i'll have 2 try another e.mail app 2 get it going. Thanks 4 doin that, it's appreciated.

Just put 193.113.160.13 in smtp and outgoing. That works for me.

Hi!
I use a Tungsten T3 with my Z600 and have these settings for the mailboxes -
incoming: pop3.o2.co.uk
outgoing: mail.o2.co.uk
I can send and receive with no problem using the T3 and bluetooth to the Z600 and then GPRS.
What I am not sure of is how can you use Outlook for e-mail. I think you can send mail and its routed through different servers from a non-o2 telephone connection but you can't receive from any. I think you must use an O2 connection to receive.
So my question is - how are you using Outlook to achieve this? Do you have an o2 dialup on your MAC?
Correct me gently if my ideas are wrong or I got the question wrong! !

Well i use an o2 connection, so i can't tell you if it works with others. Try using that number i posted in incoming and outgoing server.

thanks,
I got those numbers.... but I am wondering what number you use to dial from your PC or Mac to send and receive...
I have another account, not o2, and use a landline 014**-494*** kind of number!
Is there such an O2 dialup number? There used to be an Orange one a few years back, I seem to recall..
