Well, sort off
You may remember my story from this post
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=48001
I dropped my beloved t610 in the toilet, and it stayed in a coma during a week or so, till it was ressurected by am se-"angel" (technician) eh eh
Well, i have it in front of me: everythings is ok, calls, sounds, bt conection with Jabra BT 200 and PC, iv, gprs, camera, memory, etc
You can only tell it had an accident from some minor stains in the lcd - i guess even that can disapear in the summer, when thereīs almost no humidity here in Portugal?
There is another problem...i didnīt talk with the technician about this...when i plugged the phone with the charger it didnīt show the "charging" signal!!!
So, i drayned all battery life(before it turned off, FMA showed 2% of bat life), and the phone went off. I turned it on, and it didnīt.
So i plugged the charger. Nothing happened in terms of signaling the charging, but when i pressed the button, it turned on!!!!!
Moments later, FMA showed 9% bat life, and then 39%.
It seems that the phone is charging, although thereīs no grafical signaling about it...
Ah, thereīs no problem with the battery.
What do you think???

From my experience with a Startac my wife dropped in a bucket of water which came back to life but only for a limited period of time, I think there will still be corrosion in the electronics which will eventually cause a complete failure. It may take a week or it may take 3 months.
I also think you shouldn't create a new thread every time this story takes a new direction (please)

Iīm sorry for the new thread, iīm not going to make another one.
About the situation, i must say that i went with the phone to the SE service in the same day of the accident, and they cleaned and dryed it instantly - shouldnīt that prevent the extension of future problems, with corrosion and all that?

In the day of the accident??? Well, they told me it would prevent the extent of the damage, altough there was some minor corrosion in some parts...they tryed to turn it on, but it didnīt...then they told me that maybe thereīs some part that didnīt dryed enough
In the next days, i left the phone near an humidity extracter machine.
After that, i gave the phone to a friend that knew another SE technician...two days later, he phoned me to ask the PIN number of the sim card that went with my t610 - i was able to turn it on!
So, i guess i donīt know if it will last or not...
What do you think about the battery situation?
