Hi,

Posted a few days ago but the reply I got didnt work so I thought I would try one last time.

I have an orange.net email account and want to read my e-mails using either the built in e-mail client or over GPRS but cant seem to do either. My phone account is with O2 and I use o2 to access GRPS interner and send sms/mms.

Is there a simple way I can actually read my orange mails on my phone?

I know it works because I've got an orange.net account too and I can send and receive email on my T610 just fine - using GPRS or dialup. However Orange is also my phone network.

What are you struggling with and on which phone?

well I had an orange t68i. used orange to open mail, use internet etc..but had enough of orange so swtiched to 02.

I dont want to change my e-mail address to thought I could use the t610's email client built in thingy to access my mail. But the settings I have given keep saying invalid DNS code or server not found. I have tried every setting on here and it wont allow me. Is this because I am trying to access orange using an o2 gprs account?..do they block it.

even when I use o2 grps and type in the orange wap address it comes back with an error code.

Please use the search option. You will find your answer and settings. This message was posted from a T300

Hmm not sure about that as I've only ever used Orange.

How about trying to access it via dialup rather than GPRS? I set myself a Freeserve PAYG account up and used that to dial in to the Orange server and it worked great.

@Deanlambert with all due respect if it's that easy to find the settings why didn't you post a link to the relative thread in your message?
