I bought a P800 today and I'm all excited about finally getting one. I was wondering if there is any software I should download or any updates on the original software. As of right now i'm going to get the Opera browser but I don't kow what else is out there. Could someone please tell me what other software I should get.

Try a SEARCH. There are about 20 threads with everyone and their grandmother listing the "must-have" apps for a P800.

you should download Sman which is a good "multipurpose" program hat has a bluejack feature a file manager a database that can hold passwords and many more..

also philips camcoder is a nice app for recording videos... there is also a patch for unlimited recording.

Camera FX does some nice things with the camera

and finally handy day or tracker and photo editor

I don't know if you're allowed to post links to warez sites here.

Most Symbian apps are quite cheap, although some are still over-priced, so get some trial versions and see what apps you need. The bite the bullet and buy the ones you want.

There various threads on "must have apps" on various boards (Esato, My-Symbian, Howardforums, AllAboutSymbian and there is always the Yahoo groups
