this will also show you hardware info, sim lock info, your freq. configuration and let you format internal disk.

CDA version info vanishes if you do an internal format of the disk, or a master reset me thinks.

mine's unavailable too... and it hangs all the time
not available in service menu either... would flashing fix it and can i do a fw flash @ cpw?
edit: yes i have performed an internal format to *try* and fix it from bloody hanging up!

there is another thread on this.
basically there is a txt file on the A drive that shows the CDA data. this can be deleted and\or modified.
