I earlier had a P800 and could not sync with my PC desktop, the phone could not be found by phone monitor.
I contacted support that adviced me to turn off Antivirus software and uninstall som of the XP hotfixes that I had.
But nothing they said helped.

Then I tried to sync with my laptop.
Wow, it worked immideately (with Antivirus and hotfixes active...)

Now I bought a P900.
Exact the same problem...!
Now I also bought a USB bluetooth adapter for my desktop PC.
I can pair them together, but the phone monitor still can't find any phone ...

Is there anybody out there that have a solution ?

Did you overclock your computer?

I had similar problem before with USB when I overclock my computer (Increase the FSB). Try to change the FSB back and see if it works!

I run WinXP, CPU:AMD 2500+, 512 MB DDR RAM

i had the same problem but on my laptop.My desktop could find the phone very nice laptop nope.So the solution on my case was very simple.Since my wife have a nokia 3650 i had the software for both handys on laptop and the phone monitor could not pair with P800.So i uninstalled the nokia software,i installed again PC suite and...presto.Everything work fine now.
So try to find some software conflicts,that may cause your problem.
