i am going to buy a P800 and was wondering if it can run certian applications on it.
Particularly emulators.
Is the P800 capable of running these apps, i know the P800 is 24bit so will it be able to run 32bit apps and games at all? Most of the software has a 16bit option so will it be able to run them in this mode? Can someone post a link or explain the P800 software capabilities (im not too clever so i would appreciate not too complicated explanations)

hi there if you mean will it run pc programs then no, it wont run em. it runs on symbian os with UIQ loaded on top of it. in english this means it will run anything written for P800, P900, motorola A830, A835 and some others (correct me if i'm wrong) its a great phone in my opinion and definetely worth ur $$s as for emulators: people have developed ones for game boy (mono only, not color) sms (sega master system) and a whole bunch of other stuff! I personally find it quite hard to find roms for emulators but maybe im not so good @ lukin!? hope this helps!

it won't run everything thing, but the majority, around 90%+ and goboy is color (the game boy emu), oh, and you're limited to the games you can play on the phone, coz like, if you were playing mortal kombat, and you wanted to do a fireball? their's more chance of ripping off your jog dial in the process
