> Nokia - crippled IR?

Hey guys! I've noticed you guys have mentioned several times that Nokia phones have 'crippled IR'. I was wondering what you mean by that..... I'm a phone junkie (as are most of us on here, I suspect) and have many phones by many manufacturers. None of my Nokias (7210, 3650, 8210, 8290, 7650, etc etc) have successfully synced with my 'puter using 2 seperate IR dongles. I have no trouble with any of my Siemens,
's, etc. I was just wondering why that is, technically. Thanks!
