there are two tiny holes at the bottom of a t610 between the battery and the back case. are they for one of those clip things you wear around your neck?

Yes, you take off the battery cover, then put a handstrap around the "Sideways [", then replace the battery cover. You now have a handstrap! Much easier than those stupid phones where you have to loop the strap through a little hole, and it gets difficult...............let's just say that this is easy to set-up.
